2. Can you only hold a wear it pink day on 26 October?
wear it pink day 2012 will take place on Friday 26 October and registration will open later in the year. But if that date is not convenient for you, feel free to choose another day in October. Schools generally hold their wear it pink day on a date that fits into their calendar during October.
If you wish to hold a wear it pink event between February and August 2012 please contact our Supporter Care team for a wear it pink Anytime pack. Just call 020 7749 4114

6. Can I pay in my money at any bank?
Yes, all banks will accept the paying-in slip sent to you. Please, use only this Breast Cancer Campaign paying-in slip NOT the bank's own paying-in slip so that we can acknowledge safe receipt of your funds and send you a thank you certificate for your efforts.

9. Will I get a certificate that I can put up at work or school?
Yes, we will send you a wear it pink certificate to thank you for being part of the cure. Please allow a month after we receive your donation, to receive your certificate.
10. What is Gift Aid?
Gift Aid is a brilliant way of increasing the value of your donation at no cost to yourself. Anyone who is a UK income tax payer can reclaim the basic rate of tax on their donation, which means that for every £1 donated, the charity could receive an extra 25p from HM Revenue & Customs.
This may seem a small amount, but if all our supporters had signed up to Gift Aid last year we would have raised an extra £600,000! So please remember to encourage all your wear it pinkers to tick the Gift Aid column on your Gift Aid form and provide their full name, house number and postcode (home address only please).
If you are the wear it pink day organiser, please note that HMRC do not allow Gift Aid claims of one total amount which you have collected in and added to the form. Please encourage anyone who has donated to your collection to add their details to the Gift Aid form for the individual amount they donated.
If you don't have a Gift Aid form, you can download here or call 0800 107 3104
11. What is matched funding?
Many companies will support their employee's charity of choice by offering to match funds raised. Please ask your employer as it's a fantastic way to boost your fundraising efforts and helps Breast Cancer Campaign fund even more research.
12. How can I find out how much money was raised by wear it pink 2011?
We will keep track of the income raised on Breast Cancer Campaign's Facebook page and on this website.
