Yes, most banks (excluding Halifax) will accept the paying-in slip sent to you.
Please do not use the generic paying-in slip available in banks (i.e. not provided by
Breast Cancer Campaign) as we will be unable to acknowledge safe receipt of your funds
or send you a thank you certificate for your efforts.
It may be more convenient to donate online or over the
phone by calling 0800 107 3104.
-
Yes, for anyone who donates after January 2010 we will send a thank you letter and

If you are paying your money in at a bank, please ensure that you send Breast Cancer
Campaign your receipt.
-
Yes, for anyone donating after January 2010, we will send you a wear it pink

month of your donation.

Gift Aid was introduced by the Government in April 2000 to allow charities to reclaim
the basic rate of tax on donations - large and small, regular and one-off - made
by a UK taxpayer.
If you're a UK income taxpayer, Breast Cancer Campaign can claim tax on your donation
which means for every £1 you give, the charity could receive an extra 28p
from HM Revenue & Customs.
This may seem a small amount in isolation, but if all our supporters signed up to
Gift Aid last year, we would have raised an extra £900,000.
Please remember to fill out a
Gift Aid form and ask all your supporters to tick the Gift Aid column and
provide their full name and house number.
-
Most companies will support their employees' charity of choice by offering to match
funds raised. Please ask your employer as it's a fantastic way to boost your fundraising
efforts and helps Breast Cancer Campaign fund even more research.
-
We will keep track of the income raised on Breast Cancer Campaign's Facebook and on Campaign website.
-
Breast Cancer Campaign uses all wear it pink donations to fund innovative,
world-class research throughout the UK and Ireland to understand how breast cancer
develops, leading to improved diagnosis, treatment, prevention and cure.
