I feel in my heart I must do something

Personally, I have no great story to tell when it comes to breast cancer. I have, however, been affected by this disease anyway. I have family members that have experienced breast cancer and some are still receiving treatment. I have been motivated to support Breast Cancer Now because I just feel in my heart that I can and must do something.

How I wear it pink

For a number of years, I have hosted a coffee morning for wear it pink. It affords me the opportunity to encourage my staff team, tenants, their friends and also family to think about breast health. The day is always great fun, and there is always someone who will comment on what you are wearing giving the opportunity to explain!

Since getting involved with wear it pink, I’ve also hiked through the Cotswolds and along the Welsh Gower Coast, done bucket collections and become a local representative for Breast Cancer Now. I love doing something towards a better future for those affected by breast cancer.

So, get involved! Remember, you can ring and email the wear it pink team if you need any advice for your event.
