3 giant steps toward your wear it pink day

Posted on June 04, 2021

How you can start planning, right now.

Wip 3 Steps

1. Make sure you’re registered for your fundraising pack

There’s a good chance you’ve already registered for your fundraising pack, in which case, you can move straight onto step number two! If you haven’t, just click here and fill out this quick form.. Once we have your details, we’ll work hard to get your pack out to you as soon as possible. If you registered in May or early June, please do be patient with us as we start sending them out. We expect them to arrive from July onwards.

2. Set up a JustGiving page

JustGivingis an online giving platform, where people can donate using their credit card. This will come in handy for when you host your event, so it’s a good idea to create one in advance. Another item you can tick that off the list. The good thing about JustGiving is that donations can easily be made with Gift Aid, meaning you don’t have to worry about the paper work. We've put together a very handy guide on how to set up a JustGiving page, including tips on how to engage with your guests and maximise donations.

3. Send out a “save the date”

Make sure that no one can say, ‘I didn’t know’ or ‘I have something else planned’, by getting in people’s diaries early! With all the confusion around the pandemic and ongoing government restrictions, we totally understand if you don’t feel comfortable planning the details of your event yet. That’s okay, just pop your wear it pink day in people’s diaries and then you can get in touch later with the details of how, what and how-many-pink-cupcakes-would-you-like?

Can’t wear it pink on 22 October? That’s fine – just pick a date that works best for you, and let us know.

Now you can sit back and relax for a little bit. If you need anything at all, from extra fundraising materials to help setting up your JustGiving page, just get in touch at or on 0333 20 70 300. We’re always here for you!
