How to set up a JustGiving page for your wear it pink event
Whether you're holding an in person or virtual wear it pink – you’ll probably want to make your event as cashless as possible. The easiest way to do this is to set up your very own JustGiving page.
JustGiving is an online giving platform that allows you to create your own fundraising page, where your friends, family or colleagues can donate by credit or debit card online.
1. Create your own page
The first thing you’ll need to do, is set up your very own page, and luckily it only takes a few minutes! Go to JustGiving, and click the orange ‘start fundraising’ button. You’ll be asked to log in (or sign up, if it’s your first time), and then select the type of event that sounds most like yours. Fill out the form (more tips on this in the next section) on the next page and click ‘create page’ at the bottom.
Now you’re ready to start fundraising!

When you’re setting up your page, there is an opportunity to share your story about why you’re choosing to wear it pink this year. We encourage you to write a few words about your motivation, as it allows your guests and friends to understand the significance behind your fundraising, and why it’s so important to help make breast cancer research and care happen.
There will be a default photo for your page, but we recommend you use a photo of yourself, as it’s another great way to engage with your guests.3. Share your JustGiving page on social media
After you’ve got your page set up and looking great, it’s time to put the word out there that you’ll be joining thousands of people across the country wearing pink and raising life-changing money.
Share your page on Facebook with a short blurb about why you’re taking part. Put the link to your page in your Instagram bio, and let people know they can donate at the ‘link in bio’. Tweet your page, put it on LinkedIn and then put the link on your invites when you send them around to your friends, colleagues and family.Make sure everyone knows about your wear it pink event, and that there’s a super simple cashless way to donate.4. Create a QR code
QR codes are a quick way to direct people to your JustGiving page and make cashless donations that bit easier! You can print them on posters to display at your wear it pink events or on a collection box if people don't have cash.
