Why it’s never been more important to wear it pink
The coronavirus outbreak has had a devastating impact on our ability to deliver the services and progress that so many people rely on us for. Our research has been disrupted, our community support events have had their doors closed, and we estimate that thousands of people are living with undiagnosed breast cancer in the UK because of the pandemic.
We need your help urgently, which is why we’re so thankful that you’ll be wearing it pink with us.
Wear it pink day is on 22 October, and we plan on raising more than ever, so we can continue to be there for all those affected by breast cancer.
Wherever and however you choose to take part, we are here to support you. So, let’s wear it pink, have fun together, and raise some life-saving cash.

Still working from home or isolating? We’ve got you covered
Last year, many wonderful people across the country took part in wear it pink from home and, to adjust with this different way of fundraising, we created lots of new resources to support people with their contactless events.
This year, you might still be working from home or you may not feel ready to host an in-person event. And that’s no problem at all! You can still wear it pink, have a wonderful time, and raise money to help support life-changing breast cancer research and care. We have lots of tips on how to have a virtual wear it pink event, as well as some ideas for virtual games, and how to have a seamless wear it pink video call event.
And why not try out Big Pink Quiz 2021? After all, I think you’re probably a dab hand at an online quiz by now! And if you want to add a bit of extra spice to your virtual quiz, we have four fab tips.
However you wear it pink, be sure to set up a JustGiving page
Whether you’re holding a wear it pink event in the office, or from the comfort of your own home – you’ll probably want to make your event as cashless as possible this year. The easiest way to do this is to set up your very own JustGiving page.
JustGiving is an online giving platform that allows you to create your own fundraising page, where your guests can donate by credit or debit card online. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how you can set up your very own wear it pink JustGiving page.
