Welcome to the wear it pink community!
We want to say a massive thank you for registering for wear it pink 2018. We are super excited to have you on board for 19 October and are even more excited to continue raising money for our cutting-edge research. Your wear it pink fundraising event is so important, as it will help us to achieve our goal that by 2050, every person who is diagnosed with breast cancer will live, and live well.
So, whether you’ve done wear it pink for ten years, or if this is your very first time – we want to say welcome. You’re now part of a community of 16,000 people who will wear pink, eat cakes, play games, have fun and make a difference in the lives of so many.
“Have fun and enjoy the moment - be very proud of what we are all achieving together – there is so much more to do and we have come such a long way - I am really confident that if we all act now we can stop women dying of breast cancer by 2050.”
Fundraising advice from Baroness Delyth Morgan, CEO of Breast Cancer Now.
The first thing you need to know, is that organising and hosting a wear it pink event is super easy. Once you receive your fundraising pack, you’ll see lots of useful bits and bobs including decorations, ideas, collection boxes and a paying in slip.
One of the keys to a successful wear it pink day is a little bit of planning, so why not get started? It’s time to start thinking about how you could make your event stand out and fun for everyone. We’ve put together these really useful how-to guides, to help you plan your event step-by-step whether you’ll be fundraising at work, at school or at home.
Don’t forget – we are always just a phone call or email away. If you need any extra help or would like to chat to one of us about your fundraising, contact us on 0333 20 70 300 or at email@example.com.
Can’t do 19 October?
That’s totally fine. Just choose a day that works best for you and then let us know, so that we can support you in the best way possible and make sure you have everything you need in time for your event.
We look forward to wearing pink with you this Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
We’ll be in touch,
Your wear it pink team
